The rooster lives on.

Right, well I feel a lot better now!!.  Amazing how it is that a little vent can really fire a girl up. It’s been so long since having one I forgot that it can have some remedial benefit… once apon a time as my family will attest, it used to be incredibly easy to just vent up without much effort at all… usually about not much and absolutely about stuff I no longer give any breath too. What a monumental waste of time it was… Not to mention the rather pained expression that would come across the face of my beautiful and patient children. Please accept my belated but heartfelt apologies.

Actually, the REAL issue is not the flu, love of my life or my gorgeous children. It is the infernal juvenille rooster that has adopted our beautiful piece of paradise to create a home away from home.  Although he is a magnificent looking creature… I want to tear him leg from leg!  Whoever taught these birds to crow and doodle must’ve been a sandwich short of a picnic or had a henhouse full of delinquent chickens.

I thought to myself after 4 weeks of intermittent sleep that I will fix him and scratched around in the place the love of my life calls a shed to find an implement that would suffice in launching small missiles into the air.  Years ago, we used to call them a shanghai… and was our youngest sons first foray into the world of business (but that’s another story). I believe they are probably a lethal weapon these days but as no-one see’s me it doesn’t matter.  Anyway, a weapon was found and the palm nuts that fall in their millions seemed to be great ammo.  So amidst his cock adoodling and warbling I snuck under the giant fig trees and readied myself for the inevitable short shrift that this fluffed up rooster  was going to get…  oh that it should be so easy to short shrift him.  Not only could I not get anything like close to him with my palm nut missiles I almost blinded myself with a richocheting palm nut and now have an albeit small indentation in the side of my head. The rooster seems completely unaware of me and my weapon of self destruction to the extent that he has now made his bachelor pad directly under my dining room window strategically behind the much loved BBQ, where he has easy escape should it be necessary… oh and it will be necessary!!

Should I actually manage to overcome my loathing of him or more precisely his incessant cock a dooddling I know I will become a ‘better person’.  I have decided that to restore some harmony and balance into my life I will relocate my self and mind to the very close by Buddist Retreat Chenrezig.  I am hopeful he will not find me there.

MJ and FF passed today… RIP

In addition,  I allowed a twitter that came to me at 7.30am reporting the ‘apparent’ passing of Jeff Goldblum  (one of my all time favourite actors)  to feel sad. In the next instant, I pulled myself up and decided that quite simply was not on my radar… Instinctive and immediate chastisement!

Shortly after the twitter was confirmed as a hoax.

How easy it can be to relinquish our beliefs and respond in a way that is diminishing and limiting in every way.

I have been a student of Bob for some 4 years, initially through his ‘You Were Born To Be Rich’ (YWBR) program and every day since with Insights..

When the love of my life started to watch YWBR, he instantly connected with Bob as a person but more interestingly his description of the mind and where the information, beliefs and indoctrinations were filed and how they impacted on our thinking and decision making…   It seemed to fit really well with him and it was a joy to observe.  

Bobs simple description was what made it very easy for me too as I had recently been through Avatar, ‘Resurfacing and modules 1&2’….  Everything Bob talked about confirmed what I had connected with in Harry Palmers Avatar.  We were on the right track! (With G ratitude to my dear friend and mentor Toni).

Today you can read how Bob Proctors family responded to an opinion voiced by someone with only the best intent!  Perhaps it will strike a chord with you as it did with me. (Warmest Love to No 1 son)

This prompted me to recall that back in about August of 2007 we watched an ABC Four Corners program that preempted the sub prime crisis in the US and its subsequent effect on the financial markets around the world.  We’ve always been avid readers of Robert Kiyosaki’s books and in 2002 he too had predicted the collapse .  We decided that we needed to build and develop more streams of income, preferably passive income sources but understanding that an active income source would be necessary in the short term.

We saw the best potential in ’uping the ante’ on our networking /direct sales business that we had initiated some years prior to that.  It proved to be the correct decision.

The beauty of it was that we could help a few others to also change their circumstances as well.  Residual or passive income streams can be built very quickly using a number of mediums.  Because we are in this for the long haul, and the importance of money is right up there with oxygen, we decided to build our wholesale distribution business… bringing health to those who took a ‘leap of faith’ and in doing so gave them the  chance  to improve their financial status as well.

Of course our ‘super’ has taken a bit of a hammering but as we are not entitled to access it  for some time to come.. our belief is that it will return to a more satisfactory figure down the track. In the meantime we have it covered and then some.

Multiple Streams of Income have become our insurance for the future and some streams even create CASHFLOW for the present. It does not require a degree and initials after our name, just a willingness to learn some new ways of doing things, being teachable and having the determination to take action.  Having the future your desire is possible… Just DECIDE to.

Ain’t life wonderful… just when you think you have seen as far as you could possibly see, a whole new clarity develops and you can see ever further than that.  I just love it…

Anyway, I digress.  TopGear hosts are greatly complimented by the addition of James Morrison to their crew… It was hard for me to get my head around him behind a steering wheel of a super car… but from a distance he looks like he’s enjoying it almost as much as he does when he is playing that fabulous trumpet. 

As a noob (thats apparently the new form of newbie) to WarpSpeed, it seems like an appropriate time to thank Brett McFall in advance for the heights that he is going to assist in propelling me to with his program!  It wont be for the lack of effort, nor willingness to learn what must be learned in order to make this stream of income succeed. Beam Me Up!

With 50 stallholders the village hall was brimming over with great products like mangosteen juice  and all new… green and clean Glimpse skincare. Sonya and the friends of  Transition Town had locally grown and organic produce along with information on permaculture. Reflexologist Prue came from Flaxton to the relief of many and it was Robyn’s first outing with her beautiful necklaces. Many came with new and second hand goods of all description and their were a lot of excited people clutching bargains.  Entertainment was provided by Sistamusic and was enjoyed by all…  Both Hayley & Archie are to be commended for their entrepeneurial spirit and yummy fruit cupcake. Del’s succulent plants were popular and Kim from Blonde Ambition had my hair and others, looking fabulous. Margaret was promoting her refreshing ginger drink . Phee, Jenny and Tammy made a dull space bright and colourful. Outside, Gordon decorated with his custom country furniture, Eva with ginger plants, Darryl and Phil both had garden and rainforest plants. It was a wonderful spectacle and many were seen to be catching up with old friends and making new ones.

My absolute favourite food stalls  were Aeron’s, she makes the most delicious frangelico filled meringues and Niki who is also fantastic in the kitchen making relishes and chutneys. It’s a good thing I supplement my nutritional needs by drinking mangosteen juice  because there’s no way I can make magic in the kitchen like they do!!

The support of the Eudlo General Store and Sweethearts Cafe is appreciated.

Stall holders, your efforts are much appreciated. We hope to see you again in the Spring.
